{"Background":"Colorado statute C.R.S. 24-46.3.1-4 mandates the creation of integrated, industry-driven, competency-based career pathways to help students and workers prepare for high-demand jobs and close critical skills gaps. The Colorado Workforce Development Council, in collaboration with state education, workforce, and economic development agencies, is responsible for developing and publishing these pathways. Once completed, the pathways must be shared through a free, state-supported public microsite, currently hosted on My Colorado Journey, to improve awareness, access, and alignment between education and workforce needs.","Project Synopsis":"CDLE seeks proposals to align education with workforce needs by creating industry-driven career and academic pathways. The goal is to improve postsecondary and apprenticeship completion, reduce remedial education, and support smoother transitions from school and training programs into employment, starting as early as 8th grade.","Overview":"This Statement of Work seeks a vendor to build or configure a new Career and Academic Pathways Platform to replace My Colorado Journey (MCJ) as the system of record. The platform will display and maintain interactive industry sector webpages, publish and update career pathway data, add new industry pathways (including Electricians and Project Managers), and support interoperability with other State and partner systems to enable seamless data sharing.","Definitions":"This section defines key terms and frameworks used in the project. It explains Career and Academic Pathways as structured industry and academic routes that lead to employment, credentials, and advancement, currently displayed as “Career in Colorado Industries.” It defines core agencies (CDLE, CDHE, CWDC), fiscal year terms, and workforce concepts such as Critical Occupations, Growing Industries, and Top Jobs, which are guided by the Colorado Talent Pipeline Report. It also outlines the Quality and In-Demand Non-Degree Credential (QNDC) framework and the Quality Career Pathway Framework (QCPF), which set standards for high-quality, industry-aligned pathways, measurable outcomes, and return on investment (ROI). The vendor’s platform must support displaying pathway quality data, credentials, and employment outcomes based on these frameworks.","Experience":"NA","User Base":"NA","Go-Live/Launch Timeline":"Our preferred project start date is late March 2026, dependent on contract execution.
